The Founder's Office is hiring
Genius Born or Made? — the podcast taking apart how a Nobel laureate, an Olympic medalist, and the former CEO of McKinsey were actually built — is looking for a part-time Associate in the Founder's Office. A strategic right hand to the founder, owning movement strategy, growth, analytics, and impact. For an experienced, mission-driven operator who wants real ownership, not a brief.
Founder's Office · Remote, India · 10–20 hrs/week · Part-time · ₹10,000–25,000/mo + bonuses
Why this role exists
Genius Born or Made? takes apart the invisible routines behind extraordinary performance — guests so far include a Nobel laureate in physics, a Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist, the former CEO of McKinsey, an IIT JEE All India Rank 1, and a Stanford AI professor. The show's working thesis: that roughly 70% of genius is made, not born. The mission is to make that case visible to young people — especially those without access to these rooms — so they dream bigger.
The show is hosted by Himanshu Gupta — founder & CEO of ClimateAi (named one of TIME's Best Inventions), a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, a Forbes 30 Under 30, an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35, and a Stanford alum who grew up in a small Indian town and cracked the IIT JEE. The Founder's Office is the small team that builds the show around his work.
The show has the guests and the substance. What it needs now is someone to turn it into a movement — to own the strategy, growth, measurement, and impact, working directly with the founder. That's this role.

What you'd actually own
Internalise why these conversations matter and exactly who they're for. Every good decision starts from genuinely understanding the show and the young people it exists to serve.
Set the strategy that turns a show into a movement — distribution, formats, guest strategy, campaigns, partnerships. You won't be handed a playbook; you'll write one, and own the bets. Modern AI tools encouraged.
Forge the relationships that compound reach — creators, campuses, institutions, and the communities where ambitious young people already gather. Turn passive viewers into a community that comes back.
Define the metrics that actually matter — reach, retention, and real impact on young people — build the dashboard, and turn the numbers into the next set of bets. Honest data, clear decisions.
Watch first
You can't do this role — or this application — without watching. Start with any episode that pulls you in; one is enough to apply.
What this role is really about
This isn't a role for the most decorated résumé. It's for the operator who already can't stop thinking about how to get this show — and its case that genius is built — in front of the people who need it most.
The terms, said plainly
Honest fine print: this is a paid, part-time freelance engagement for a personal creative project — not employment with a registered company. There are no benefits, insurance, or tax withholding; you handle your own tax obligations. Either of us can end it with 7 days' notice, you keep the right to use your work in your portfolio, and there's no non-compete.
Who this is for
Experienced, resourceful people based in India who get the internet and can think in systems and impact — growth and marketing operators, strategists, community builders, ex-founders, and serious creators. A track record of having built or grown something matters more than a specific title or degree. What we're really looking for is taste, judgment, ownership, and follow-through.

This takes real watching and real thinking — that's the point. There's no shortlisting by résumé here.
A note on AI: we encourage AI tools on the job — but write this application yourself. Every answer is read by a person, not a screener, for judgment and taste over polish. Generic, templated, or clearly un-watched answers don't get far.
